Job Description

As a Software Developer - Sales Force Commerce Cloud, you will be responsible for the work associated to you by the Team lead, eclipse setup, Sales Force Commerce Cloud server creation, updating the cartridge paths into BM, making the changes on top of SiteGenesis.
Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Sales Force Commerce Cloud.
Work with business analysts and Solution Architect to understand the functional expectations, review Functional specifications, Technical specifications and come up with technical solutions. Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, reviews, Tax etc by following defined coding standards
Act as a team player and be willing to guide others and self-learning to keep yourself up-to-date.
Responsible for executing builds, replicating the code from one instance to others.
Responsible for modifying the business manager according to business rules i.e. configuring the content slots and assets, configuring the promotions, coupons, campaigns and extend Sales Force Commerce Cloud data model.
Should take ownership in delivering the quality output.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of ecommerce implementation specifically on Sales Force Commerce Cloud platform, MVC Pattern, Eclipse.
Good understanding of object oriented programming, deep understanding of the deployment considerations specific to SaaS based cloud server.
Good knowledge on all Business Manager features.
Knowledge of the concepts of price and inventory, and had worked with external vendors to set up feeds and processes for these on projects.
Experience in design and development of third party (backend) integration, and should be able to implement the new cartridge for new vendors with SOAP or Rest API calls.
Follow Sales Force Commerce Cloud practices, coding standards and quota limits.
Review the code of team members.
Efficient in reusing the new features released by Sales Force Commerce Cloud from release to release.

Job Description

Develop Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of Sales Force Commerce Cloud.
Work closely with business analysts and solution architects in understanding the functional and technical requirements and able to design the solution to meet the expectations.
Develop the Sales Force Commerce Cloud extension cartridges depending on the client requirement.
Able to analyze, debug/troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to e-commerce and Sales Force Commerce Cloud implementation.
Ability to deal with scope changes carefully and perform impact analysis.
Design and Develop - features such as faceted navigation, customer account, shopping cart, product search, order management, promotions, social ecommerce, Integrations like Payment, Analytics, reviews, Tax…etc.
Work with team to implement advanced features provided by Sales Force Commerce Cloud for job schedules, Rest and Soap API calls by considering quota limits.
Monitoring the error logs and quota status properly.
Provide inputs and direction to associates on the team for design and implementation.
Collaborate with your architect to define implementation processes and quality gates and standards.
Develop the code as per the defined Sales Force Commerce Cloud coding standards and ensure respective team members also follow (preform code and deliverables review).
Responsible for code and data replication to PIG.
As a Senior Software Engineer - Sales Force Commerce Cloud, you will work with the team members to setup the Sales Force Commerce Cloud work space, BM configurations and code repository creation, usage.
You will work with TL or TA to ensure the necessary health of the overall solution. Should be able to mentor others (min. 2 members) and work towards improvising the process.
Ensure that the defined organizational methodology/process is followed.
Should take ownership in delivering the quality product not only for self and also for the team.

Magento Certified Developer
Ability to work on Magento Core module and customize as per requirement.
Clear and Strong understanding of Magento base structure, MVC, Magento core customization.
Must have Knowledge of ERP integration, SAP Integration, Public-ecommerce platform like ebay amazon integration.
Must have ability to put his own thoughts and setup the development processes, ability to design the core structure as per client requirement for the customization and module or extension development.
Knowledge of working with third party web services (eg. payment gateways, shipping gateways etc)
Able to work with design integration / module development / extension development.
Extensive knowledge of PHP & MYSQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML, XHTML. Strong database designing skill
